Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone Have Broken Up After 4 Years of Dating

Looks like those rumors floating around the internet are true: Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have broken up after more than four years of dating. And while sources haven’t dished quite yet on what went wrong, they have confirmed the split to People—who broke the news on Tuesday night (August 30).

These two have been dating since 2018 (when they attended Ellen DeGeneres’s 40th birthday party together), and that year an anon People source mused that Leo was “very in love and serious” and he and Camila have “talked about getting engaged” because he has “never loved a girl like this.”

The age gap in their relationship was much-discussed—especially in the early years—and Camila once chatted about it to Vulture saying “Negative comments don’t stop because you address them. I felt like being like, ‘You guys suck! This sucks. You guys are really mean.’ I probably won’t address it again. Because then you open floodgates for people to judge you. I’ve learned more and more to just protect myself and avoid things that’ll hurt my feelings.”

She also spoke about backlash to their relationship to WSJ. magazine in 2020, saying “More exposure leads to more judgment and negativity. It’s a little bit of a bummer because you’re really trying to do good work and be nice and be a good person, and in the meantime…people wish negative things upon you.”

That same year, a source told E! News that “Leo and Cami are still going strong and doing really well” and “he does really like his life with her and they’re a lot more couple-y than they used to be.”

Most recently, the couple were seen in Malibu celebrating July 4th in pics from Just Jared.

TBD on what went wrong, but here’s to hoping they work it out?
