Moschino’s Jeremy Scott is the king of nostalgic collaborations, and his latest one with Sesame Street is ticking all of our boxes. In the past, the designer has teamed up with everyone from Barbie and My Little Pony to SpongeBob SquarePants! This time, Scott is bringing some of our favorite characters like Elmo, Ernie, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster back on our radar, and ELLE got the first look. The designer wanted to “something that inspires, and brightens, and uplifts, and puts a smile on your face. I was already nostalgic for it at 20.”
The 28-piece collaboration between the beloved kids’ show and the Italian fashion house will be launching in June. Country superstar Kacey Musgraves modeled pieces from the collaboration, which was shot exclusively for the magazine. We’re not that surprised as Scott dressed Musgraves up as Barbie at the camp-themed Met Gala back in 2019. Keep reading to see a few of the pieces and Kacey wearing the collection, too.
