Hello, Your Weekly Tarot Card Reading Is Here

You don’t need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread, to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here’s what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces, plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

Hearst Owned

The World is the final card in the tarot’s Major Arcana, and it represents the truth that every ending is the embryo of a new beginning. Life is cyclical, and there is no final destination. Take a time-out this week and think of the elements of your life in this way. Where are you nearing the end, midway through, still building, or just starting out? Recognizing the many different phases you’re in can help you give the appropriate time, energy and consideration to each one.

a hand holds out seven golden pens over a diamond background

Hearst Owned

You’re such a wholesome, open-hearted person that you can sometimes fail to recognize the shade in others. Too often you get burned or get your heart broken by fiery, jealous, or underhanded people. The Seven of Swords asks you to look around you right now, because there are some people in your circle who are not that nice. Get a little distance, withdraw, and put your guard up. Don’t let them have full access!

two of cups tarot card

Hearst Owned

Love is in the air for you this week, Taurus, with the romantic Two of Cups. If you’re single, then look out for sexy water signs (Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio). If you’re newly dating, then expect things to heat up this week—go ahead and surprise them with something exciting. If you’re in a long-term relationship, then this is THE week to re-activate that spark. Go big!

the judgment tarot card showing eyes encircling a full moon

Hearst Owned

You experience a genuine ~wake-up call~ this week, which enlightens you about recent events and your role within them. Maybe it’s time to shed some old beliefs and let yourself evolve into a better version of yourself, so that you can find the right niche, somewhere you’ll fit in and be appreciated. Stop trying so hard for people who don’t seem that bothered or impressed—they’re not your people. Why give more to people don’t appreciate what you’ve already given? Just sayin’.

the tarot card the queen of pentacles, showing a golden clock over a green and white background

Hearst Owned

The Queen of Pentacles brings stabilizing, safe, secure, and strong energy to your world. This boost makes you want to tackle the thorny issues you’ve got going on in your health, wealth, and home realms. What is out of control, broken, or failing? Drag it out into the open, take a good long look at it, and get to work. You can fix things, you can rebuild, you can renew. The Queen of Pentacles will bring you ALL of the necessary resources, power, and motivation.

the eight of cups tarot card, showing eight golden cups in two rows

Hearst Owned

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. That’s what the Eight of Cups says, and that card is right! Just because you didn’t accomplish what you wanted last time, so what? It doesn’t mean history will repeat itself. In fact, it’s unlikely to do so, because you know wha tyou’re doing. Go get your dream. You can achieve it this time around, I promise.

knight of wands tarot card

Hearst Owned

Knights are the ~extremes~ of the tarot. They encapsulate the essence of the suit, and for Wands, that means this week will be all about travel, adventure, education, socializing, and creative projects or ideas. Let your imagination wander and make sure to follow it wherever it leads. Allow yourself to activate an inspiration. This isn’t about work, self-improvement, or chores. This is about having fun and enjoying your wonderful life.

five of cups tarot card

Hearst Owned

Libra, don’t be sad. You have so much good in your life. Whatever has happened to upset you will soon be behind you, and you will move on to better days. We all lose sometimes. We all face hardships. We are here to experience everything life can bring so we can grow through it and come out the other side stronger and wiser. The Five of Cups shows this sadness will soon be behind you. Start making plans for the future.

three of cups tarot card

Hearst Owned

Did somebody say party? The Three of Cups is the YOLO card of the tarot. It offers you permission to cut loose, hang out, and have a good time in whatever way you want to (Scorpios have their own ideas about what constitutes fun, like seances, roller coasters, and extreme sports). Live a little—in fact, live a lot! Go out and put time and energy into doing whatever makes you feel alive. The universe wants you to!

the tarot card the page of pentacles, showing a golden clock and two eyes over a diamond and a starry sky

Hearst Owned

I always think of the Page of Pentacles as a student or apprentice. This card asks you to go to the beginning of a topic or skill you’d like to learn about, and start learning. Maybe it’s something formal like a degree, maybe you’re just reading a book or watching a documentary. However you educate yourself on what inspires you is up to you. But this card is a strong signal that NOW is the right time. Who knows where this could all lead!

Have you ever though about teaching or mentoring? You have a good head on your shoulders and a lot to offer. The Queen of Wands tells me that you can take on a leadership role in some area of your life where you feel confident and in flow. Maybe it’s at work, in a class you take, within your social circle, within the community, or even with family. Step up, be the one with the answers vs. the one with the questions, and set an example. You’re a great leader.

knight of swords tarot card

Hearst Owned

Aquarius, they should never have crossed you. They thought you were quiet and laidback (which you are), and they didn’t realize quite how tough and determined you can be when you’re riled up (which you are right now). The Knight of Swords sees you fighting for your position this week and winning over the competition. They under-estimated you, but they won’t do so again. Time to show them your claws!

The Tower is a tough card about sudden and dramatic events or revelations that rock our world. These come in from time to time and change everything. It’s like there is a “before” and an “after.” I know this sounds intense, but don’t get scared. This is something you already have know is coming on some level, because you’re so intuitive. There’s something that feels fading, false, or negative, and you might have already considered letting it go. Well, it’s time.
